Successful Admission to the Foundation Program with Progression to BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science at Bournemouth University

Scholarship Awarded: £2,000

Why Our Team Recommended This Option:

  • One of the UK’s Leading Universities for Paramedicine: Bournemouth University ranks among the top 10 UK universities for Paramedic Science (6th place) according to The Complete University Guide 2024.
  • Hands-On Training Focus: The BSc program offers extensive practical experience, with students accumulating over 2,000 hours of hands-on practice across diverse healthcare facilities.
  • Career Prospects: The program is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), enabling our student to apply for paramedic registration post-graduation.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: Practical sessions take place in Bournemouth Gateway, a modern facility equipped with simulation labs for ambulance scenarios, hospital wards, and even home care environments.
  • Accredited Program: The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course at Bournemouth University is endorsed by the College of Paramedics (CoP) in the UK.

Comprehensive Support from The Academic Advisor:

Our student Polina’s case was rare and particularly engaging. Paramedicine is a highly specialized field with rigorous admission requirements. Despite the generally simplified process for Foundation program entry compared to bachelor’s admissions, Polina faced a competitive selection, as the paramedic pathway requires substantial commitment and preparedness.

Seats for paramedic preparation programs are limited. We began collaborating in August 2023 (over a year before the course start date). By September 2023, only five seats remained for the Foundation program starting in Fall 2024.

One of the admission requirements was six months of work experience in emergency or rapid response services, or a similar field. After gathering all documentation, including motivation materials and a recommendation letter, we submitted the complete application package, followed by a personal interview with a preparatory college representative. After a 1.5-month review, we received the long-awaited acceptance letter along with a £2,000 scholarship!

This September, Polina officially began her studies at Bournemouth!

Admission to the University of Westminster through the IYO Program

“The Academic Advisor helped me gain admission to the University of Westminster. It was an incredible experience – everyone on the team was incredibly communicative, attentive to my preferences, and offered the most comfortable and ideal options based on my needs. Working with them was a pleasure; all that was required from me were my details, documents, and preferences – they took care of everything else. The best part was receiving a comprehensive final letter, where all the essential information and a step-by-step guide for next steps were included. I am incredibly grateful! Talking with other Ukrainian students who applied through other agencies, I felt deeply thankful for choosing The Academic Advisor. Many of them had no idea about the scores they’d need upon completing Kaplan or what steps to take after arrival. Thank you so much!”

Admission to the Pre-Master’s Program at Queen’s University Belfast

“I reached out to Veronika and Yuliia on my sister’s recommendation – she had already successfully been admitted to the University of Bath. First, I had a call with Veronika, during which we discussed all the details, and I realized that with my completed bachelor’s degree, direct entry to a master’s program wasn’t possible. Veronika immediately suggested applying via a Pre-Master’s program, and I agreed without hesitation. From that point, Veronika and Yuliia took care of everything, from selecting suitable programs to providing invaluable advice. Ultimately, I chose the Pre-Master’s at Queen’s University Belfast, tailored to my specific needs. I’m writing this review now from my first orientation session at the university. I want to thank Veronika and Yuliia for their help with my admission – I honestly don’t think I could have done it on my own. To sum up, their work was professional and genuinely attentive to my interests. Thank you again!”
